Tinnitus
Do you have ringing, buzzing, whooshing, or other noises in your ears? If so, then you have tinnitus, just like 50 million other Americans.
What causes tinnitus
Tinnitus can be a symptom of hearing loss, but can also be related to muscle tension, side effects of medications, or other central nervous system issues.
When are hearing devices recommended
Your tinnitus evaluation begins with extensive audiologic testing and an assessment with one of our doctors. Our multidisciplinary team will then help formulate a management and treatment plan specifically for you. This may include hearing aids (devices) with masking devices (capabilities), which are often recommended as part of a comprehensive plan to treat tinnitus.
